Each year on September 11, we come together to honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call on that tragic day in 2001. We also take this time to express our deep gratitude to those who continue to serve and protect our communities today.
We invite you to join Mason faculty, staff, and student volunteers for a special luncheon as a small token of our appreciation for your selfless dedication. This meaningful day will also feature remarks from students in the P.O.P. Club at Pattie Elementary School, who will once again be volunteering and sharing their reflections during our opening ceremony. Participants are encouraged to RSVP and sign up for a service project as part of this campus wide day of service and gratitude.
