9/11 Day of Service

Service Fair

The Office of Community Engagement and Civic Learning is excited to invite you to the 2024 Service Fair. This year’s fair will take place on Wednesday, September 25th, from 11:00am-2:00pm in Wilkins Plaza – a central outside location at George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus. We want to invite you to table and connect with Mason students, faculty, and staff about opportunities to volunteer with your organization.

Complete the Service Fair Sign Up Form and claim your spot today! The form should take no longer than 5 minutes. Please register as soon as possible so we can arrange for the appropriate number of tables.

Important things to note:

  • A space will be provided
  • Lunch will be served and there will be a water station
  • Parking will be validated
  • In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to 9/26/24, 11:00am-2:00pm
  • We moved the event back two weeks compared to previous years to hope for some enjoyable fall weather (we heard you loud and clear!)
  • This year’s location is a central, high traffic area on campus, with an anticipated increase in student attendance
